Admissions to all courses run by the University are made through Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) The AUAT-2017 will be held in different courses:-

A candidate has to satisfy all  the eligibility conditions given below for appearing AUAT-2017
  a) Candidates applying for AUAT-2017 should have passed/expected to pass the  qualifying exam listed in Section before getting admission to the courses they  wish to apply at the time of counselling.
  For 4-year B. Tech, 5-year Integrated Master of Computer Application  (MCA) & 5-year Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc in Computer Science: 
  1:-Candidate must have  taken Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry having at least 100 Marks in total in  each in the final examination of the 10+2 pattern.    
  2:-Candidate must have to  secure at least 60% overall in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken  together in 12th level and at least 50% in Mathematics.       
  3:-Candidates who are  appearing 12th Board examination in 2017, may also apply, however, their  admission will be cancelled if they fail to secure the above mentioned criteria  later on.
  For Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and  Statistics & Informatics): 
For Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc in Biological Science(5 years) & 4-year  B.Sc(Nursing):
  Candidate  must have taken Biology, Physics, and Chemistry having at least 100 Marks in  total in each in the final examination of the 10+2 pattern.                                             
  For Biological Science:  Candidate must have to secure at least 60% in Biology and 60% in aggregate in  12th level  
  For B.Sc Nursing:  Candidate must have to secure at least 45% in  aggregate in 12th level [only for FEMALE candidates]  
  3. Candidates who are appearing 12th Board  examination in 2017, may also apply, however, their admission will be cancelled  if they fail to secure the above mentioned criteria later on.
  For Integrated BA- MA (English)/BBA-MBA & Integrated BA/B.Sc-MA/M.Sc  (Geography):
  1. Candidates appearing for  5-year integrated M.A. in English must have studied English having at least 100  Marks in total and has to secure at least 50% in the Subject and the candidates  appearing for 5-year integrated Geography must have studied Geography with at  least 100 Marks in total and has to secure at least 60% in the Subject as well  as 60% in aggregate in the final examination of the 10+2 pattern. Candidates  appearing for 5-year integrated MBA must have to secure 60% in the aggregate in  the final examination and 50% in English in 10+2  pattern in any branch from any recognized board.                                       
  2. Candidates  who are appearing 12th Board examination in 2017, may also apply,   however, their admission will be cancelled  if they fail to secure the above mentioned criteria
  For M.A. (English, Bengali, History, and Arabic), M.A/M.Sc in Geography  & MA/M.Sc in MJMC; LLM, MA in Urdu; MM/MA in Theology & M.Sc in  Statistics & Informatics:
  1. Candidates who have  passed the final examination of the three-year degree programme with 45% marks  in concerned Honours/Major subject from any recognized University may apply. 
  2.Candidates who have passed Part I and Part  II examinations by 2016 with at least 45% (40% for MM/MA Theology, M.Sc in  Statistics) marks or equivalent grade taken together in respective  Honours/Major subjects from any recognized University are also eligible to  appear for AUAT-2017. However, their admission will be cancelled if they fail  to secure an aggregate of 45% (40% for MM/MA Theology, M.Sc in Statistics)  marks in the final result of the Degree Programme and also to produce the Mark  Sheet/Grade Card at the time of Admission. For M.Sc. in Statistics and  Informatics Candidates passed BSc in Mathematics/  Statistics may also apply.
  For 2-year M.Sc in Mathematics:
  1. Candidates who have  passed the final examination of the three-year degree programme with 50% marks  in concerned Honours/Major subject from any recognized University may apply. 
  2. Candidates who have  passed Part I and Part II examinations by 2016 with at least 40% marks or  equivalent grade taken together in respective Honours/Major subjects from any  recognized University are also eligible to appear for AUAT-2017. However, their  admission will be cancelled if they fail to secure an aggregate of 50% marks in  the final result of the Degree Programme and also to produce the Mark  Sheet/Grade Card at the time of Admission.
  For M.Tech Programs: 
  Candidates  should have bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline with 6.5  DGPA from any AICTE approved institution or candidates who have passed/appeared  7th semester with 6.5 CGPA (till 6th semester) may also apply
  3 years BA (Hons) in Arabic: 
  Candidates must have taken  Arabic with at least 100 Marks in total   in the final examination of the 10+2 pattern securing at least 45% in  Arabic.
  3-year kamil/B.A. in Theology: 
  Candidates must have  passed with   at least 45% in Theology in Fazil Examination.
  3-Year BA (Hons) in  Islamic Studies: 
  Candidates must have passed with at least 45% in  Theology in Fazil Examination. 
  MCA Program (3 years): 
  Candidates who have passed  Part I and Part II examinations by 2016 with at least  45% marks or equivalent grade taken together in Honours/Major subjects,  B.Sc  (Hons.) with Mathematics as one  subject or BCA from any recognized University are also eligible to appear for  AUAT-2017. However, their admission will be cancelled if they fail to secure an  aggregate of 45% marks in the final result of the Degree Programme and also to  produce the Mark Sheet/Grade Card at the time of Admission.
  3-year B.A. in Urdu:
  Candidates must have taken  Urdu with at least 100 Marks in total in the final examination of the 10+2  pattern securing at least 45% in Urdu.
   B.Tech Program (Lateral Entry-2  years): 
  Candidates must have passed  Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and  Electronics & Telecommunication branches) with 60% in aggregate. Candidates  appearing in the final examination must have secure 45% (average) in 1st to 5th  semesters of Diploma Engg.
  AGE LIMIT
  For  Course Code A 01 - A 07, B 01 to B 03, D 01 and D 04 maximum age limit is 22  years as on 01-07-2017.  For Course Code  C 01 to C 11, (except C 07 and C 08), D 02, D 03 and D 05 maximum age limit is 25  years as on 01.07.2017.
  For Course Code C 10, maximum age limit is 28  years as on 01.07.2017.
  For Course Code C 07, and C 08, C 12 to C 16,  and E 01 the maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.07.2017.
  SPONSORRED  CANDIDATES: Candidates working in different govt./private organization may apply for E 01,  C 07, C 08,  C 12 to C 16 programmes.  There is no age limit for such candidates. However, they have to apply through  proper channel. 
  PHYSICAL FITNESS
  All qualified candidates may be required to submit  a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner in the  prescribed format that will be made available to them at an appropriate time.  They will be admitted only if they are physically fit for pursuing a course of  study at Aliah University

          Process of filling up online  application form:
          There are  four steps in this process
          Step I: Applicant have to register  himself/herself first. 
          Step II: In this step applicant have to  choose programme(s). One applicant can apply maximum three programmes subject  to fulfillment of his/her eligibility and availability. Availability of  programme(s) will be shown to him/her depends on DOB.
          Step III: In this step applicant have to  choose centre of examination and continue for payment Select the centres in order of your  preference. Final decision regarding allotment of the centre for AUAT-2017 will  be taken by the authority.
          Step IV:   Applicants make his/her payment in this step. The cost of the  application is non-refundable.
          If any  step(s) is completed applicant can continue for next step at any time by login  through his/her Application id and DOB (will be send to his/her mail id ).
          Options  given in the Application cannot be changed at the later stage after submitting.
WHO CAN APPLY
Any Citizen of West Bengal (in General Quota) less than 22 years of age for Under-Graduate courses can apply. A foreign candidate can also contact the University for admission in desired courses. There is no reservation of seats except the ‘Physically Handicapped’ category. 5% of seats are reserved for the students who are not the domicile of West Bengal. Such candidates have to apply in ‘Other States (OS)’ quota. These candidates have to submit relevant documents with their confirmation sheet.
