Mr. Sohel Rana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Aliah University, Kolkata. He completed his M.A. (Education), B.Ed., and B.A. (Hons) in Education from Aligarh Muslim University. Mr. Rana has qualified for the UGC-NET and West Bengal SET, demonstrating his academic excellence.

Since joining Aliah University in October 2020, Mr. Rana has actively contributed to various academic and administrative roles. He serves as the Coordinator of M.A. 1st Year, Co-Convenor of the Department NAAC Committee, and a member of the Departmental NCTE Committee. Additionally, he has been involved in revising the M.A. (Education) syllabus based on Learning Outcomes and CBCS.

Mr. Rana's areas of interest include Teacher Education, Inclusive Education, and Educational Psychology. He has presented papers at seminars organized by institutions like Sammilini Teachers Training College, Aliah University, and the ICSSR. Furthermore, he completed a one-week summer school program on designing internship programs in teacher education organized by Azim Premji University.

Currently, Mr. Rana is mentoring a dissertation in the M.A. in Education program. With over 3.5 years of teaching experience at Aliah University, he has demonstrated his dedication to academic excellence.
