Dr. Oindri Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Aliah University since March 2021. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor in Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College, Kolkata from October 2019 toMarch 2021 and in Adamas University from June 2017 to September 2019. She earned her doctoral degree in 2017 from EFL-University, Hyderabad for her thesis, “Sexual/Textual Consonance in Tales of ‘Disorderly’ Bodies: A Comparative Inquiry into Narratives of Gender Fluidity”. Her academic writings, predominantly in the field of Post-Feminism and Intersectionality Studies, have been published in reputed journals and edited anthologies.  Her other areas of interest include Comparative Mythology, Life-Narratives and Critical Race Theories.
