Dr. Farheen Naaz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at Aliah University. She joined this prestigious institution in January 2026. Her research focuses on the concept of education, women’s education and empowerment, and Madrasa education. She earned her Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia. Her areas of study include Islamic educational reform, Muslim intellectual history, and Muslim Women in colonial Bengal.
