Brief Profile: The department presently offers 4-Year B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) and 2-Year M.A./M.Sc. courses. In addition to it, the Ph.D. degree programme is also conducted by the Department.
The department has two permanent Assitant professors and some guest faculty from reputed Universities and Colleges from in and around Kolkata.
Teaching and learning is given prime importance by the faculty members. Research is encouraged to develop innovative and analytical approach to learning
