Master of Law (LL.M.)
The Department offers the degree of Master of Law (LL.M.) The Course duration is two years (four Semesters). Students have to appear in theory papers in three semesters and research in the form of dissertation is submitted by students in the Fourth semester. This course has 30 seats in total. The Course is offered in two specializations. One is the Business Law and the other is the Family Law, the maximum seats in each specialization can be 15. The specializations are choice based unless more than 15 candidates demands a single specialization. In case more than 15 candidates demands a single specialization, the preference in specialisation is given on the basis of merit list of total marks obtained by candidate in the first semester examination. No changes will be made after allotment of specialization. Both the streams of Business Law and Family Law has high demand in industry and academics. The department of Law focuses on training the students and grooming their legal skills to suit the demands of the current times. Deeper analysis of law and legal research is taught to the students through modern legal pedagogy.
