Master of Law (LL.M.)
The Department offers the degree of Master of Law (LL.M.) The Course duration is two years (four Semesters). The degree of Master of Law provides the in depth legal knowledge where the students not only are able to analyse critically but are also able to analyse the legal concepts and the legal basis of any socio-economic or political act. It develops in them the desire to pursue the legal background of the concepts. Legal doctrines are taught to them and the classes provide scope of interaction in order to make them completely aware of the topic in a critical manner. Legal knowledge is greatly enhanced in the students by teaching them the modern notions and current developments of law as law is dynamic and changes with time place and society. It is a research based course and polishes students as better researchers. LL.M. is offered in specialisation of Business Law with choice based credit system. The department of Law focuses on training the students and grooming their legal skills to suit the demands of the current times. Deeper analysis of law and legal research is taught to the students through modern legal pedagogy.
