Dr. Melisha Khatun is Current Head of the Department of Economics. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Burdwan and was a Gold Medalist in her M.SC (Economics) from the same University, securing first rank in the University.
With over 9 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Khatun specializes in Econometrics, Growth Economics, Industrial Organization & Game Theory and Agricultural Economics. She has published extensively in reputed indexed, UGC care listed, national, international journals and has presented her work at various prestigious academic conferences. She has successfully supervised several doctoral research scholars and post-graduate projects.
