Dr. Hasina Wahida is Assistant Professor of English at Aliah University, Kolkata since April 2016. Earlier she had been Assistant Professor at Dewan Abdul Gani College, Harirampur in Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal for one year. She has been in teaching profession since 2012 and has served as a guest faculty in colleges and universities. Presently she is pursuing her PhD in American Literature from The University of Burdwan. She has published articles in a number of journals and has published papers in International Conferences and Seminars. Her areas of interest include post 1950s British literature, American Literature and Indian English Literature, particularly on literature of the Partition, ethnicity and identity.
