Dr. Rohan Hassan is Assistant Professor of English at Aliah University, Kolkata since March 2016. Earlier he had served as an Assistant Professor at Saldiha College, Bankura. He has been associated as a guest faculty in several colleges and universities since 2011. He has also been a UGC-Junior Research Fellow at the Department of English and Culture Studies, The University of Burdwan. Presently he is pursuing his PhD on American Frontier Literature from The University of Burdwan. He has published articles and papers in a number of journals and has delivered talks in International Conferences and Seminars. Some of his areas of interest include contemporary American novels,post 1950s British literature and Popular Literature.
