Dr. Sohel Aziz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Aliah University. He completed his Ph. D from Aligarh Muslim University and joined in this department in 2016. Before joining here, he also served as an Assistant Professor in IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad, and SBS Government College, Hili (W.B.E.S.). Since then he is actively engaged in research and advanced studies. He has presented research papers in several National and International Seminars and has published many research papers in reputed International Journals and Anthologies and has also delivered special lecture in several occasions as a resource person. His major Interest areas are Modern and Postmodern Novel, Modern and Postmodern Drama, Literary Theory, Dalit Literature, Feminist Theatre, Postcolonial Literature, Marginalized Literature, Asian Literature, Diaspora Studies, Gender Studies, Anthropocene Literature, African-American Literature, Cultural Studies, Disability Studies, Literature and Human Rights, and Urban Studies.
