Dr. Nasim Ali Khan has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Aliah University since 2012. He also held the position of Head of the Department (Officiating) from 2013 to 2015.
He obtained his B.E. (2005) and M.-Tech (2007) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India, and earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, in 2017.
Beyond academics, Dr. Khan has been actively involved in various important university committees, including placement, admission, examination, and anti-ragging. He has also contributed to student welfare as a Boys' Hostel Warden for two and a half years and served as the Chairman of the Maintenance Committee for two years. Since 2022, he has been officiating as the University Electrical Engineer.
Dr. Khan has guided more than 15 postgraduate students and currently supervises three Ph.D. scholars. His research contributions include five patents granted under the Government of India.

Served as the Head (Officiating) of the Electrical Engineering Department at Aliah University from June 2013 to August 2015.
Serving as University Engineer (Electrical) at Aliah University from 2022 onwards.
