Pallav Dutta holds B. Tech. and M. Tech. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology and University of Calcutta, respectively. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Jadavpur University. His research interests include Optimization of Lighting System Parameters, Human-Centric Lighting, Driving-related Human Factors, Street Lighting, Renewable Energy, Machine Learning and Internet of Things applications. Pallav Dutta is highly regarded for his expertise in curriculum development, university-level teaching and online education. He holds the prestigious title of Chartered Engineer and is affiliated with various esteemed professional organizations. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Aliah University, Kolkata, India. Prior to his association with Aliah University, he had been a part of the teaching faculty at numerous eminent government universities and institutes situated across various regions of India. Additionally, Pallav Dutta actively contributes to the academic community, serving as a reviewer for numerous esteemed journal publications in the field of engineering and technology. He is also involved as an active member in various conference committees for different international conferences, congresses and symposiums held worldwide. In addition, he has filed and published 6 (Six) patents under his name as co-inventor with the Indian Patent Office, Government of India and the UK Intellectual Property Office.
