Eligibility: Candidates possessing Masters Degree in Geography/Earth Sciences/Social Sciences from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 55% marks.

Selection Procedure: The selection to Ph D programme is purely on the basis of academic merits. The University will call for the interview to applicants who qualify AURET conducted by the concerned department/URP along with those applicants who possess M. Phil, or qualified NET/JRF (UGC/CSIR), SET (WBCSC), and GATE.
