Department of Physics offers Ph.D. in the different exciting fields of present interest under the broad subject areas:

The students enrolled for the Ph.D. degree, are bound to complete a mandatory course work comprising of the topics like
- Research methodology
- Soft skill enhancement
- Extensive introduction of advanced theoretical methods or cutting age experimental techniques
- Literature survey and presentation
- Laser Physics
- Atomic and Molecular Physics
The whole syllabus is covered in a minimum of 1 semester having 12 credit in total.
