Mr. Mahabub Islam is a Faculty in the Department of Education at Aliah University, Kolkata. Presently he is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Education from this department. He completed his B.Ed. from Government College of Education (CTE), Banipur, North 24 Parganas and joined this department in 2020. He is an alumnus of Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata from where he completed his M.A. in Education and also received the University Gold Medal for his outstanding performance in 2018. He completed his B.A. (Hons) in Education from Bidhannagar Government College, Saltlake, Kolkata in 2016. He has qualified WB-SET and UGC-NET in Education thrice. He has also been awarded for UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2022. He has participated in various national and international seminars and workshops in India. He has also published research articles and papers in several national and international journals and books. His areas of interest are Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, Educational Philosophy, Environmental and Population Education, Guidance and Counselling, Inclusive Education, Learning and Teaching, Information and Communication Technology etc. His career objectives include achieving excellence in teaching and research and guiding his students to achieve greater heights.
