Dr. Nilakshi Mukherjee Mondal has been awarded for Ph.D. from the Rabindra Bharati University for her doctoral thesis on “Gadyanatake Sangeeter Prayog O Tar Nandantatwik Baishister Parjalochona “. She has done B.A . Honours in Music, M.A. in Music and B.Ed., M.A in Education all from the Rabindra Bharati University . She received UGC Major Research Fellowship for the research of “Contribution of Female Members of Jorasanko Tagore Family : Swarnokumari to Amita Thakur “from 2009-2011, from Rabindra Bharati University, Department of Bengali.
She has number of publications of ISSN journals and ISBN books. She has participated state, national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, webinars. She has been invited for the International Seminar organised by Dhaka University Bangladesh.
She loves to introduce herself as a teacher as teaching is her passion. She believes that education isn’t just about feeding the brain. Art and music feed the heart and soul. She teaches courses in B.Ed.
Her voice has been approved by AIR. She received 1st position from State Music Academy in the field of Rabindra Sangeet, 2nd position in Banga Sanskriti Utsav and many more. She performed at the prestigious programme like West Bengal like Bangla Sangeet Mela, Kobipaksha , Baishe Shrabon, Kolkata Doordarshan and others.
