The Department of Bengali has started Under Graduate courses in 2017. In 2019 we introduced Credit Based Choice System and from the session 2023-24 we introduced Credit and Curricular Framework in 4 Year B.A.

Programme Outcome of 3 Year B.A. in Bengali (CBCS)

PO 1 The learner will be able to understand Bengali language and literature after chronological specific subject centric analytical study of 3 Year B.A. in Credit Based Choice System. Analytical and creative ability will be enhanced of learners.

PO 2 The programme leads learners to enhance the power of logical and critical thinking ability of social interactions.  

PO 3 The socio-political history and cultural aspects will help the students to acquire a holistic knowledge for understanding of evolution of cultural heritage of Bengal through various contexts.

PO 4 The aims of course is to be build up an effective citizen through empathetic social concern and equity-centric national development, ability to act with and informed awareness of issues and participation in civic life through volunteering.

PO 5 The fieldwork immerses students in the investigation and help to build up the thirst and curiosity of knowledge through the Pilot Survey.

PO 6  Students will be able to engage in life-long learning and research-work independently.

PO 7 The Students will be able to understand the other languages, cultures, diversity and pluralism of Indian society in this programme.

 

 

Programme Outcome of 4 Year B.A. in Bengali (NEP-CCF)

PO 1 A sincere student achieves a strong foothold on Bengali language and literature after chronological, subject-specific and analytical study of 2 Year M.A. in Credit Based Choice System. His/ her analytical and creative ability will be enhanced.

PO 2  The programme leads to the learners the power of logical and critical thinking ability of social interactions as well as cognitive development.   

PO 3 A comprehensive and detailed analysis of the socio-political history and cultural aspects will help the students to acquire a holistic knowledge for understanding of evolution of cultural heritage of Bengal through various perspectives.

PO 4 The programme aims effective citizenship through empathetic social concern and equity-centric national development, ability to act with and informed awareness of issues and participation in civic life through volunteering.
