Teaching chemistry is my profession as well as my passion. For about ten years, I have been doing that job just like a "KATU-KUTU BURO" (Reference: A famous poem of the great Bengali poet Sukumar Roy).

Research Area

Target oriented organic synthesis and methodology development: Development of new methodology for the synthesis of bioactive organic compounds, natural products and their analogues. The bioactivity of the compound is evaluated in our collaborative groups.  

Development of new organic ferroelectric materials: We are working on the development of new ferroelectric material in collaboration with the Department of Physics, Aliah University.
