Dr. Sayeeda Amaan has been awarded for Ph.D. from the University of Veer Kunwar Singh for her doctoral thesis on Teachers’ perception. She has done B.A. Honours from Calcutta University. M.A Persian from Patna University. M.A Urdu from Maulana Azad  National Urdu University. M.A Education from Karnataka State Open University. B.Ed. from Calcutta University. M.Ed. from West Bengal University Teachers' Training Education Planning and Administration. She has qualified herself in NET Examinations. She has participated in a number of State, National and International Conferences,  Seminars, Workshops, programmes. She likes to describe herself as an enthusiastic teacher who is focused on interdisciplinary approaches and feels that research and teaching are complementary to one another. She teaches B.Ed. & M.A. (Education) Courses and emphasizes the use of audio-visual aids and Collaborative Learning to Broaden Students' Knowledge. Establishing Smart Classrooms and Language Lab in the Aliah University and its proper usage provided significant benefits in this regard.
