  •  Dr. Md. Maidul Islam is an Assistant Professor in the Department Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry at Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal, INDIA. He has extensive research and education background in the field of chemistry, biotechnology and biophysics. His special interest lies in the field of biochemical activity of dyes and nanoparticles. He is life member of Indian Biophysical Society and DNA Society. He is also an executive member of DNA Society. Since 2004 he was working on biochemical activity of different natural and synthetic dyes.
  • He is also working on the synthesis of nanoparticle using environment friendly process and their different types of application. He is equaly passionate in the field of computational biology and working on the structure activity relationship of different dyes, drugs and small molecules. During his research career he had published several research papers and one book on biophysical chemistry.
