Dr. Md Jamal Uddin obtained a Ph.D. in Education from the Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Bhubaneswar, Utkal University, Odisha. He obtained a Ph.D. (Science) in Physics from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur University, and a M.Phil. (Physics) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. He did B.Ed. and M.Ed. from David Hare Training College under the University of Calcutta. His field of research interest comprises recent trends in Science Education, Educational Technology, Physics of Polymer Nanocomposites, Teacher Education, and Inclusive education. He has a number of publications in referred journals of international repute and has also presented his work at various national and international conferences in India and abroad. He has also authored and co-authored four text books for a 2-year B.Ed. program. He has acquired the Best Research Paper Presentation Award in 2023. He has received the Teachers of the Year Award for 2023–24 for his excellence in the field of Education.
