Dr.Nasar is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Business Administration, Aliah University, Kolkata. She is pursuing Ph.D. in the field of Human Resource Management from the Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta, West Bengal.  She holds MBA degree in Health, Hospital and Pharmaceutical Management from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi and B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences (Major in Zoology) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.

Before joining Aliah University, she worked as a full-time lecturer in the Faculty of Business Studies, Bright Vision Infotech, Study Centre, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi from April 2009 to December 2011. Then she worked as a Course Co-ordinator at the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) Coaching Centre under Aliah University, Kolkata from 03.11.2012 to 07.07.2013, 01.08.2013 to 30.09.2014 and 07.03.2015 to 31.07.2015. She then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of MBA, Millia Institute of Technology, Purnea from 1^st August 2016 to 16^th September 2017.

She has been working as an Assistant Professor since September 2017 in the MBA Department of Aliah University and since then she has taught various courses which include Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Materials Management, Cross-cultural /International HRM, Strategic HRM, Organisational Behaviour, Industrial Economics and Management, Seminar and Presentation Skills.
