Ms.  Parwez is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Business Administration, at Aliah University, Kolkata. She is pursuing Ph.D. from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, West Bengal.  She holds MIB degree from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and B.Com.(H) degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. She has been awarded UGC NET and JRF in Commerce and Management.

 

She has been working as Assistant Professor since December 2017 in MBA Department of Aliah University and since then she has taught various courses which includes Accounting for Managers, Business Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Legal Aspects of Business, Financial Reporting, Statements & Analysis, Industrial Economics and Management, Professional Values and Ethics.

Her area of research is Accounts and Finance.

She has been actively engaged in various University committees and departmental committees. She served as a Warden at Aliah University Girl’s Hostel, New Town from May, 2018 to September, 2023.

1. Presented a paper titled “Is share pledging a harbinger of bankruptcy” at 3rd International Conference on Management and Business Practices - (ICMBP) 2019 organized by Department of Management and Business Administration, Aliah University, New Town Campus on January 16 & 17, 2019.

2. Presented a paper titled “Share Pledging and Earnings Management: A Literature Review” at 6th International Conference on Management and Business Practices - (ICMBP) 2024 on “Nurturing Inclusive growth in a Globalized World: India at the Centre stage organized by Department of Management and Business Administration, Aliah University, Kolkata on February 21 & 22, 2024.
