Dr. Golam Kibria is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has completed his M.Tech. (in 2008), as well as Ph.D (in 2014) from Production Engineering Department from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He has authored several internationally recognized books (Authored books = 3, Edited books = 5). He also authored several book chapters in different edited books published by International Publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, Nova Science, etc. Dr. Kibria has worked as a senior research fellow (SRF) in Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-sponsored project from 2008 to 2011. He has also published several technical papers in national and International reputed journals (total international journal papers = 44, national journal papers = 4). Dr. Kibria has also presented papers in number of national and international conferences. His research interests include non-conventional machining processes, micromachining, and advanced manufacturing and forming technology. He is a life member of The Institution of Engineers (IEI), India. Dr. Kibria is an editorial board member as well as a reviewer of a number of reputed international journals, namely Optics and Laser Technology, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Review, and International Journal of Physical Sciences. In his credit, he has received I.S.T.E. National Award for Best M.Tech. thesis in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. He also received the Institution Prize (Gold Medal) of 2008–2009 from The Institution of Engineers (India) for the best paper.
