Dr. Gholam Syedain Khan has more than 12 years of experience in the higher education sector as a faculty member in various colleges under the University of Calcutta. He has served his alma mater St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, as an Assistant Professor of Finance, before joining the Department of Management & Business Administration, Aliah University, Kolkata on January 2016. He is proficient in financial econometrics, time series analysis and financial modeling. His earlier assignment also includes as a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence in Financial Markets (CUCSE-CEFM) of Calcutta University-Calcutta Stock Exchange. During his stint in the Research Centre, he led the responsibility of editing the financial markets quarterly newsletter of the Centre. During his fellowship, he has organized  various  events  like  virtual  stock  market  game,  Investors’  Awareness  Programs  and International Seminar of the Research Centre. He has published a number of articles in the leading daily newspapers as well as numerous research papers in peer-reviewed and Scopus indexed journals. He also serves as a Springer journal reviewer along with other Scopus indexed journal. He is an avid researcher in various fields of finance.
